Tuesday, June 24, 1947, just before three o'clock in the afternoon ... Kenneth Arnold, a private pilot from Boise,
Idaho, was flying over the Cascade Mountains searching for the wreckage of a lost C-46 for which a $5,000 reward had
been offered. Arnold never found the missing aircraft, but what he did see, put his name in newspapers all around the world.
He had just made a 180-degree turn over Mineral, Washington, when a bright flash of light caught his eye. During the next
30 seconds, Arnold frantically searched the sky for its source, (he was actually afraid he was about to crash with another
aircraft). Kenneth saw yet another flash to his left, this time, from the North. When he looked in that direction, Arnold
witnessed nine objects, the lead one at a higher elevation than the rest, streaking south over Mount Baker toward Mount Rainier.
Watching their progress from one peak to the next, he calculated the unidentifiable craft's speed at (at least) 1,700 miles
per hour. Even when he arbitrarily knocked 500 miles off that estimate, Arnold was still dealing with the impossible speed
calculations. The unidentified objects whipped in and out of the smaller peaks, periodically flipping on their sides in unison.
As they did, the sunlight reflected off their lateral surfaces, this explained the flashes that had first caught his attention.
Arnold wrote later; "They were flying diagonally in an echelon formation, with a larger gap in their echelon between the first
four and the last five." The object that appeared to be the leader, looked like a dark crescent; the other eight, were
flat and disc-shaped. Arnold estimated the chain they comprised, was about five miles long. After two and a half minutes,
they disappeared, heading south over Mount Adams. The modern day fascination with "Flying Saucers" or, (as we now
use the term) UFOs (unidentified flying objects) had finally begun. In actuality, the fascination with UFOs had begun LONG
before modern man, (as I'll be more than happy to point out below). So, sit back, relax, learn and know, that we are definitely
NOT alone in this complicated universe. If you're one of those skeptical people who scoff and laugh at the idea of extraterrestrial
visitation, you're in for quite the surprise ...
UFOs IN THE BIBLE?! The three most well known
stories in the Bible that suggest UFO-like encounters are the stories of the Exodus, Ezekiel, and Enoch. But there are others. Many researchers, have discussed the "pillar of the Lord," seen leading the Hebrews out of Egypt and point out its UFO-like properties. Others have discussed Jacob's heavenly ladder as a possible sighting. Still others are convinced that the four 'living' beings who 'moved like wheels' and 'burned like
bronze' as seen by Ezekiel were also UFOs. (The eagle/lion/ox/man symbolism of these beings is found in other depictions of the so-called kerubim in
the Middle East, and reappears in conjunction with the Four Evangelists.) The story of Enoch is perhaps the most interesting,
for he claims (like Elijah) to have been 'taken' up into the heavens and shown the Earth from above, which he describes as "a sphere." Some
people think the Star of Bethlehem and the cloud which descended upon Jesus on Mount Tabor may have been UFO activity as well,
and some authors even suggest that his parentage may have been extraterrestrial ... rather than divine. Von Daniken ("Chariots of The Gods") and others, reach even further for evidence of Extraterrestrials in the Good Book. They explain the Ark of the Covenant, as an "electrical capacitor," or "condenser," or "manna machine"; the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah as an atomic explosion; the legend of the "sons of god" descending
on "the daughters of men" as an early interbreeding program; and the "burning bush" as a landed saucer.
They also attempt to explain the 'heavenly chariot' or Merkabah that Elijah saw, and which plays such an important role in Qabalistic mysticism, as a UFO. Melchizedek is said to be a space being, and various visits of "angels" are interpreted as meetings with space travellers.
Numerous "channeled texts" like Oahspe make a similar attempt to explain incidents in the Bible through an extraterrestrial lens. In many cases, these explanations
are definitely only for the highly credulous and overly literal scholars, that inhabit UFOlogy ... Bottom Line? God Created
EVERYTHING, SEEN and UNSEEN! Yes, Even Grey, Green, (or whatever) Extraterrestrial Beings.

On a Foot Note: Some Christians believe, that they will be "saved" from the tribulation by "The Rapture,"
(that we are in the beginning stages of now). Nowhere in the scriptures does it mention this phenomenon. This was never
referred to, until 1830 ... Before 1830, all Scripture references like first Thessalonians 4.13-18 were considered resurrection
verses and nothing more. A PRE-TRIBULATION, secret catching up of the church was unheard of at that time. There's not a single
document on earth that will say otherwise now ... nor has there ever been one. We learned that in 1830, a charismatic woman
named, Margaret MacDonald had a vision, which basically interpreted into a pre-tribulation rapture of the saints. John Nelson
Darby took the dream very seriously and began to claim it as a teaching of the church. Darby further added the notion of a
secret rapture and a two-stage second coming of the Lord. Darby influenced many other prominent churchmen of his era, like
D. L. Moody, C. I. Scofield and C. Larkin. Larkin used a Revised Version instead of the King James Bible to prove his point.
In recent times, Hal Lindsey's book, "The Late Great Planet Earth," now turns out to have been ghostwritten by a
woman named, Carla Carlson. This book helped to further the rapture lie, through the medium of several apostate television
clubs. It's far more plausible, (given the visual and written evidence) that Ezekiel, Enoch and others were referring to UFO
encounters.
Foo Fighters: During World War II, numerous
American pilots reported that their planes were often trailed by blazing balls of fire which they called "Foo Fighters."
The term "Foo Fighter" was supposedly used, (initially) as a semi-derogatory reference to Japanese fighter pilots,
(known for their erratic flying and extreme maneuvering) but it became a catch-all term for fast moving, erratically flying
objects. There were several other terms used to describe these objects, such as "Kraut fireballs", but "foo
fighter" seems to have been the most popular. The term is generally thought to have been borrowed from the often surrealist
comic strip Smokey Stover. Smokey, a firefighter, was fond of saying, "Where there's foo there's fire." Some folks
think that the term came from a Lil' Abner cartoon, (where one character exclaims, "Where there's foo, there's fire!") The common belief at the time, was
that these balls of light might be some sort of secret Nazi experiment. Shortly after the war, (in 1946) numerous people in
Sweden reported curious incidents where "rockets" would sail through the sky, plunge into icy lakes, and never be
seen again. These "ghost rockets" were also thought to be left-over V2s or some other German invention being tested by the Allies.
"Foo Fighters" Were Reported on Many Occasions From Around The World: A sighting from September, 1941 in the Indian Ocean was similar to some later
Foo Fighter reports. From the deck of the S.S. Pulaski (a Polish merchant vessel transporting British troops), two sailors
reported a "strange globe glowing with greenish light, about half the size of the full moon as it appears to us."
They alerted a British officer, who watched the object's movements with them for over an hour.
On February 28,
1942, just prior to its participation in the Battle of the Java Sea, the USS Houston reportedly saw a large number of strange,
unexplained yellow flares and lights which illuminated the sea for miles around.
A report was made from the Solomon
Islands in 1942 by United States Marine Stephen J. Brickner. Following an air raid alarm, Brickner and others witnessed about
150 objects grouped in lines of 10 or 12 objects each. The objects seemed to "wobble" as they moved; Brickner reported
that they resembled polished silver and seemed to move a little faster than common Japanese aircraft. He described the sighting,
saying "All in all, it was the most awe-inspiring and yet frightening spectacle I have seen in my life."
In the summer of 1942, a Royal Australian Air Force plane patrolling off the Tasman Peninsula was approached by "a
singular airfoil of glistening bronze color", about 150 feet in length and 50 feet in diameter, with what seemed like
a dome on top. It paced the plane for a few minutes, then turned away "at a hell of pace", turned again and dove
into the ocean.
Several UK Ministry of Defence documents, declassified in the 1990s, relate sightings of unusual
aircraft by RAF crews in 1942. One, dated 3 December 1942, related that the crew refused to be shaken in their story despite
ridicule. During a raid on Turin the night of November 28/29, they twice spotted an object an estimated 200-300 feet in length,
1/5 to 1/6 that in diameter, and traveling at an estimated 500 miles an hour. It had four equally spaced red lights along
its length. The pilot, Captain Lever, said he saw a similar object about three months before north of Amsterdam.
On the night of 26/27 May 1943, during a raid on Essen, Germany, the crew of an RAF bomber reported a large cylindrical
object similar to the one reported earlier near Turin. There were a number of "portholes" evenly spaced along its
length. It was much larger than their aircraft with an "incredible" speed estimated to be in the "thousands
of mph!"
Ufologist Leonard H. Stringfield related a near-fatal encounter he had at the end of the war when
he was a USAF intelligence officer. On 28 August 1945, as they approached Iwo Jima in a Curtiss-Wright C-46 Commando, they
encountered three teardrop-shaped objects, brilliantly white, closing and on a parallel course. Their magnetic navigation-instrument
needles went wild and their left engine suddenly failed. Losing altitude, crew and passengers were told to prepare for a ditch.
Then the objects departed and the engine restarted.
Career U.S. Air Force pilot Duane Adams often related that
he had witnessed two occurrences of a bright light which paced his aircraft for about half an hour and then rapidly ascended
into the sky. Both incidents occurred at night, both over the South Pacific, and both were witnessed by the entire aircraft
crew. The first sighting occurred shortly after the end of World War II while Adams piloted a B-25 bomber. The second sighting
occurred in the early 1960's when Adams was piloting a KC-135 tanker.
Foo fighter reports were mentioned in the
mass media. A 1945 Time story stated, "If it was not a hoax or an optical illusion, it was certainly the most puzzling
secret weapon that Allied fighters have yet encountered. Last week U.S. night fighter pilots based in France told a strange
story of balls of fire which for more than a month have been following their planes at night over Germany. No one seemed to
know what, if anything, the fireballs were supposed to accomplish. Pilots, guessing it was a new psychological weapon, named
it the "foo-fighter" ... Their descriptions of the apparition varied, but they agree that the mysterious flares
stuck close to their planes and appeared to follow them at high speed for miles. One pilot said that a foo fighter, appearing
as red balls off his wing tips, stuck with him until he dove at 360 miles an hour (580 km/h); then the balls zoomed up into
the sky."
The Robertson Panel cited foo fighter reports, noting that their behavior did not appear to be threatening.
Interestingly, the Robertson Panel's report noted that many foo fighters were described as metallic and disc-shaped, and suggested
that, "If the term "flying saucers" had been popular in 1943-1945, these objects would have been so labeled."
NAZI FLYING SAUCERS: It was well known
that Viktor Shauberger and Dr. Frederick Ottomans had designed some type of saucer-shaped craft for the Nazis, and the Air Force experimented with some "hover" designs of this kind, after the war as well. Not unsurprisingly,
the idea that UFOs were a secret government experiment lasted into the 1950s, until "hollow earth" and extraterrestrial theories pushed it to the margins.
